Pivot, Pivot, PIVOT!
Why change isn’t necessarily the end, but instead the beginning of something greater
Hi, Hi, Hi, Hello,
Let’s talk about pivoting, because, if we’re being real, life loves to throw the opportunity to pivot at us all the time. Sometimes they feel like plot twists in a movie we did not sign up for. Other times, they sneak in quietly and nudge us toward something better, something we never saw coming. The key, for us, is taking that opportunity.
That’s exactly what happened with Her Joyful Life. A few months ago, I was frustrated, stuck, and honestly, pretty bummed about how things had unraveled over on TikTok.
I had poured so much energy into it, only to have the rug pulled out from under me. Then, someone mentioned Substack. At first, I wasn’t sure. Another platform? Another shift? Another learning curve? But something in me whispered, Try it.
Fast forward to now, and I can confidently say, I’m so glad I did. Substack has opened my eyes to new ways of connecting, creating, and serving this beautiful community. It’s made me rethink, rebrand, and refine what I truly want to offer. And in the process, I’ve realized something powerful: I am able to pivot when necessary.
This isn’t about abandoning the past or disregarding what I’ve built, it’s about growth. It’s about paying attention to what feels aligned and making the adjustments needed to step fully into my purpose. Change isn’t always easy, but staying stuck in something that no longer serves us? That’s even harder.
We don’t have to cling to what was just because we put time and effort into it. We don’t have to force something to work when it’s clearly not aligning anymore. Instead, we can shift. We can evolve. We can move in the direction that feels more us.
And that’s exactly what Her Joyful Life is, a shift that feels deeply aligned with the mission I’ve always had through Green Light Guidance: helping women heal, grow, find a loving community, and build a life that actually feels good, that is Joyful.
So if you’re in a season where life is nudging you toward something different, trust it. Even if it feels uncertain or uncomfortable at first. You might just look back and realize it was the best thing that ever happened.
Sending love and gratitude for being on this journey with me. Here’s to pivoting when necessary.
Remember, You Are Worthy and Your Are Loved!
